having fun is cool: an overdue missive

please excuse my absence

my excuse is this: I’m taking biology and anatomy right now as pre-reqs for a possible grad program, and so my brain is full of bones and cells and synthesis and diffusion, and fun has tragically taken a back seat to studying. please enjoy the following depictions of what I’ve been about:

I’ve watched very little (Severance and Drag Race are IT) and I’ve read very little (I have 120 pages left of Lies and Sorcery, and I’m determined to FINISH). I’m on the hunt for a thick moisturizer (thinking about this girlini). I have managed to fit in my workouts, which has meant that all I’m listening to is DtMF on mega-repeat while I do planks (obsessé with Mr. Bunny now and forever it seems). otherwise, tragically I have not one recommendation for you.

the only fun left is time with family and friends, so I present to you some photos of the gorgeous trip I took to California in December with my mother, and some photos from a gorgeous trip I took to Puerto Rico with my girtinis.

In conclusion, I am mega-blessed. I look forward to not thinking about meiosis or the steps of muscle contraction ever again in a few months, and once again having fun and returning to this newsletter in May when these classes are over. But until then, much much love to you in this sick sad world.
